Compatible with Van-Rack models for installation on caravan/camper/trailer A frames.

The engineered bolt on mount consists of the mounting bracket which fixes to the draw bar crossmember, saddles to mount the required cross member and the mounting post which is available in three sizes, short, long or quick release. 

The recommended 50 x 75 or 50 x 100 rectangular hollow section (RHS) with a minimum wall thickness of 3mm is not included with the Gripsport Van rack. If your van does not have a suitable cross member, either a custom cross member will have to be fabricated, or you can purchase a Universal Cross Member if your drawbar is suitable.

DIY fitting without fabrication is now possible with Gripsport’s NEW Universal Cross Member (UCM), this new product is compatible with all van racks and simply bolts onto your drawbar. If you don’t have a suitable cross member, simply select the correct size before checkout for your drawbar. Check out the Gripsport UCM Fitting Guide for easy installation.

Note: If your van already has a suitable cross member or you are purchasing a Gripsport Universal Cross Member (UCM), select Bolt on Mount without saddles as they are not required when using the UCM.

Posts available with either:

  • Tall post – Height adjustable from 574mm to 844mm from the top of the drawbar.
  • Short post – Height adjustable from 269mm to 449mm from the top of the drawbar.
  • Quick-Release Short post – Height adjustable from 269mm to 449mm from the top of the drawbar.
  • Quick-Release Tall post – Height adjustable from 574mm to 844mm from the top of the drawbar.
