Do you own a Gripsport GS2 Vehicle Adventure rack and have recently purchased a caravan or camper and need to carry 4 bikes with limited space? Our conversion kit allows full access to items on your drawbar without the need to remove bikes or the rack. It allows full access to items on your drawbar, also the ability to pull out beds and open large front boots without the need to remove the rack. It can also be used on any standard setup where you simply would like more access.

This product is designed for bikes with smaller diameter wheels that are prone to sitting too low in the wheel hoop. A 12" bike will need a pair and a 16" wheel will need one wheel hoop reducer. Please note: This product is sold as a pair.
Fat Hoop Reducers are for those Fat Tyre Bikes with smaller diameter wheels that end up sitting too low in the Fat Hoop. Please note: This product is sold as a pair.
The GripSport Top Tube Adapter allows you to securely fit the Frame Hook and Quick Release Carrier Strap onto any “step-through” bike or any bike with a very low top tube, including some ladies bikes and/or modern e-bikes.
If you purchase an all hoop setup, cinch straps are not included (only supplied with rear taco). Add these to your kit for piece of mind. Extreme, heavy-duty, quick-release (velcro style). Holds diameters from 40-120mm.

The Gripsport GS2 Vehicle Adventure to a 4 Bike Van Rack Conversion Kit includes the following with Bush Chook Mid-Post Tilting Mechanism:

  • 1 x Gripsport 2 Bike Fixed Van Rack
  • 1 x Bush Chook Mid-Post Tilting Mechanism
  • 1 x Upper Post
  • 1 x Lower Post
  • 1 x Bolt-On Mount – Suitable for 50x75mm or 50x100mm RHS
  • 2 x Saddles (including bolts)
  • Note: A suitable cross member is required to fit the Bolt on Mount. If your caravan drawbar DOESN’T have a suitable cross member, select the Universal Cross Member (UCM) from the selections if compatible with your drawbar. If the UCM is not compatible, the kit comes complete with “saddles” and a custom cross member can be welded to them. Check out our Fitting Guide for further information.
  • Note: Your existing GS2 Adventure rack towbar adapter is ONLY suitable to carry 2 bikes on your vehicle, if you would like to carry 4 bikes, you will need to purchase the 3-4 vehicle towbar adapter in the selections before checkout.
