Gripsport GS-Urban bike racks have no frame contact, with just three contact points on each bike being the rear tyre, two points on the front tyre and nothing having to touch the frame of the bike at all. It comes with integrated ramps allowing you to easily load your bikes without any heavy lifting. They also have a tilt pivot feature that provides you with convenient access to your boot without removing your bike rack.

They are the perfect all-round tow bar bike rack that allows you to transport your bikes around town and on gravel roads safely. Suitable for cars, SUVs and 4WDs and can accommodate road, MTB, e-bikes and fat tyre bikes.

All GripSport racks are designed, tested, and manufactured right here in Australia and come with a structural warranty. Gripsport racks are built tough, and to keep them looking and performing at their best we recommend following Gripsport’s product care & use guidelines.

This rack can carry 2 bikes, weighing up to 30kg each. Designed for Light Off-Road Use only (refer to Terrain Guide).

IMPORTANT: Lights & Number Plates on Bike Racks

Regardless of where you drive in Australia, the rules are simple.

  • You must not obstruct clear view of your vehicle lights
  • You must not obstruct clear view of your number plate
  • And if you drive at night your number plate must be illuminated.

This bike rack does not include lights or a number plate holder. To be safe and legal, please either fit your own rack-light system or choose one of the Gripsport racks with the “+” symbol as they come standard with all you need.

Fits to a standard 2" square hitch receiver. The Tilting Adapter provides rear access to your boot/hatch/barn doors/spare wheel etc without having to remove the rack or bikes.
Fits to a standard 2" square hitch receiver. Got 37” spares hanging off the back of your 4x4? This beast will clear the big dogs and is also useful for utes with underslung towbars. The Van-Rack tongue towbar adapter allows you to swap your Van-Rack from caravan to car. This requires installation under your towball.

Stupidly simple to fit and easily swapped between different racks and different towbars as needed. This high quality anti-rattle device stabilises any make or model bike rack that slips straight into a 50mm (2 inch) square hitch receiver. In typical GripSport fashion it's tough, user friendly and can even be fitted with a padlock (not included) to help lock that valuable rack to your vehicle.
