Fridge Doovalackys are a simple bungee cord restraint for securing RV or 4WD fridge and freezer doors when traversing this great country. Whether on the blacktop or in the scrub Fridge Doovalackys will hold your gear in place.
When you last travelled that corrugated dirt road what carnage did you find when you opened your RV or camper trailer door? Rough dirt roads (and a lot of bitumen roads) will destroy anything that is not secured adequately. Our Aussie made DOOVALACKYS will hold this gear in place.
With the fridge Doovalacky installed your fridge and freezer doors cannot open. (above)
Fridge Doovalackys are flexible cords and have a fair amount of adjustment within them. Here at Bush Chook RV & Leisure we have been testing their limitations and their ideal tension in order to obtain the best results for securing RV internals. Although we have built in tolerances for incorrect measuring it is best that you follow our simple installation instructions for the best possible results for your Doovalackys.
fridge Doovalacky kits come complete with anchors and fixing screws
Selecting the correct length for your Fridge Doovalcky is simple, firstly you will need to establish where you would like to fix the anchors. Most RV’s will have enough space on each side of the fridge to install the supplied anchor. Ascertain if the anchor will not be in the way of any other items surrounding the fridge.
Measure where possible the width of where the anchors will be located. this is the fridge "width".
Anchors installed at centres of fridge panel (above), .
Once you have measured the distance, select buy now tab and simply choose the closest size to you measurement. (If your fridge measurement is different, select the smaller dimension). If there are no measurements anywhere near yours please contact us and we will custom make your Fridge Doovalacky.
We know that your Doovalackys will allow you travel with confidence next trip.
Maybe we'll see you on the road, we'd love to catch up and we are always open to hearing your feedback on our gear. Plus of course share a cold can of Bush Chook at happy hour!
Cheers & Safe travels
